Moonlight Magnolia Triptych (Three 11 x 8.5" original cyanotypes)
UNFRAMED.
Cyanotypes are a 19th century form of photography.
These are three unframed 11 x 8.5 inch (45 x 60 cm) hand-printed cyanotype photographs sold together. They are two different images, each printed as a negative with the dark and light areas reversed. What was originally a dark silhouette of a branch against a morning sky is flipped to look like a night sky with the branch illuminated by moonlight.
Printed on heavy cotton watercolor paper and signed on the back.
