Afternoon Bay Laurel (FRAMED to 13 x 13 inches, original acrylic painting on wood panel)
Now framed in a 1.5” deep white solid wood floater frame. (13 x 13”)
The same size and style as the other two mini botanical paintings on panel: Sunrise Magnolia and Sunrise Bay Laurel. (13 x 13”)
The different darker and lighter layers of this painting are thin and sheer, each showing through the next, which gives a softness and glow. This is a California Bay Laurel, a species native to the hills where I often hike.
The sides of this wood panel are painted a bright white making it not necessary to frame this. There is a hanging wire across the back.
