This is a hand-printed contact photograph using the antique cyanotype process and big negatives the same size as the final print. These are the woods in the hills of Oakland, across the bay from San Francisco. At dawn the fog can be thick transforming the world into a hushed monochromatic version of itself.

All are on hand-stained pure cotton watercolor paper paper, then printed by hand outdoors using natural sunlight for exposure with giant photo negatives.
Slight variation in the shades of blue exist from print to print. Signed on the back by the artist.
